Falfán (born 2000 in Hurlingham, Buenos Aires Province) is currently with the Argentine national team for the Copa América, underway in Ecuador until August 2.

She joins from Club Atlético Newell’s Old Boys, where she ended last season, having started it with Granada CF in Spain’s Liga F.

Known for her technical ability, short- and mid-range passing, and ball-winning skills, Falfán typically plays in the holding midfielder role, the classic No. 5, anchoring play between defense and attack, the club said.

Falfán began her professional career with Club Deportivo Morón in 2018–2019 before moving to UAI Urquiza, where she spent five seasons.

She made her first move to European football in 2023, joining Granada CF and playing in Spain’s top division before returning to Argentina and signing with Newell’s.

Capped 36 times by Argentina, Falfán scored one goal for the national team and made her senior debut at age 19.

She won bronze at the 2022 Copa América and played four matches at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

She becomes Dux Logroño’s fifth signing ahead of the 2025–2026 season, following the arrivals of María Miralles, Andrea Colomina, Paula Rubio, and Annelie Leitner, as the club prepares for its return to Spain’s top-tier women’s football.

The squad for the upcoming season includes Laura Martínez, Isabel Corte, Natalia Cebolla, Chelsea Louise Ashurst, Marta Masferrer, Sandra Perera, Iria Castro, Ximena Velazco, Justina Morcillo, Mía Asenjo, Lorena Valderas, María Miralles, Andrea Colomina, Paula Rubio, Annelie Leitner, and Daiana Falfán.
