Golden Gate Investment Corp., a U.S.-based corporation specializing in the development of energy projects, infrastructure, and international investments, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Comercializadora y Servicios Panamericana, C.A. (COSERPACA), a Venezuelan company with operational and industrial experience, with the purpose of establishing a framework for cooperation in the development of energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects related to Venezuela’s oil sector.

The agreement contemplates the evaluation, structuring, and development of various initiatives related to energy production, industrial infrastructure recovery, refining systems, processing facilities, and other strategic areas aimed at strengthening Venezuela’s productive and energy capacity.

The alliance is focused on the development of technical studies, energy projects, and infrastructure initiatives associated with the Venezuelan oil sector, including potential opportunities for cooperation with the national oil industry (PDVSA), within the framework of applicable institutional, regulatory, and commercial processes.

The parties estimate that the projects currently under evaluation could mobilize large-scale investments over the coming years, with the potential to exceed seven hundred million U.S. dollars (USD 700,000,000) through different phases of development, subject to technical studies, financial structuring, regulatory approvals, and definitive agreements.

Nelson E. Gallegos, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Gate Investment Corp., stated that the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding represents a strategic step within the company’s international expansion plan.

The alliance seeks to promote cooperation between U.S. and Venezuelan companies, encouraging knowledge transfer, trade exchange, workforce development, and the creation of new opportunities for Venezuelan professionals, technicians, and workers.

In addition to its initiatives in Venezuela, Golden Gate Investment Corp. participates in international energy projects, including strategic agreements and contractual rights derived from Joint Ventures established for the development of energy assets in northern Mexico.

These initiatives are part of a regional strategy aimed at strengthening energy integration and developing long-term projects throughout Latin America, including potential cooperation opportunities with the Mexican energy sector and companies linked to the industry, such as PEMEX, within the applicable legal framework.

The parties agreed that international cooperation is a key element in promoting projects capable of generating employment, technology transfer, industrial modernization, sustainable economic growth, and social welfare.
